The Oxford Well-being Co-op is a collective of diverse well-being practitioners who have come together to create a sustainable and far-reaching model of well-being support, that not only breaks down barriers in terms of accessibility, but also ensures the practitioners themselves are building sustainable livelihoods.

Whilst we’re still at early stages and will be trialling various payment structures and working to secure funding, we want to begin working as soon as possible to make sure that we are utilising the spaces and setting the foundations for ongoing and future outreach.

I look forward to sharing links to our website and booking system in due course, but in the meantime you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Miranda, Nicole and Suffia are the other co-directors and are offering an incredible range of well-being modalities, many of which are already well established throughout the wider community.

I will personally begin by offering massage and yoga workshops using a pay-scale and pay-it-forward model. We are committed to ensuring that all practitioners get paid fairly for their time and care; and any surplus goes straight back into the Co-op where members will collectively agree how this is allocated.

For example, this could be on rent for the spaces that we use; funding sessions and workshops to break down financial barriers; outreach work with marginalised groups, such as the Asylum Seeker/Refugee Women’s Group in Farringdon, currently facilitated by Nicole.

If anyone has any questions or wants to learn more please don’t hesitate to email me.
